Our medium and dark roasts are single-source, from El Porvenir, a worker-owned farming cooperative in Nicaragua we've partnered with since 2002. Our decaf is organic and fair trade, decaffeinated using a chemical-free Swiss Water process, and sourced from cooperatives in Latin America. Our espresso is a blend of dark-roasted beans from El Porvenir and other Latin American sources.
All our coffee is certified organic, shade-grown, and certified Bird-Friendly by the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center, grown at 1,100 meters and freshly roasted to order by 19 Coffee Co. in Pittsburgh.
