More from the World Vets blog about the clinic:
World Vets Team Granada has just returned home safely from a successful project in Nicaragua. 136 surgeries were performed, including 96 spays, one leg amputation and several tumor removals. An additional 90+ animals were treated for medical conditions. World Vets plans to provide ongoing support to this Spanish colonial city in the heart of Nicaragua. This was third team we have sent to Nicaragua this summer. Thanks to all of the local volunteers, World Vets volunteers and especially to Dr Tom Parker, Susan Paseman and Donna Tabor for all of your efforts in coordinating this project.
