Raul Planas, a music teacher from Spain, began Rhythm in the Barrios to bring the beauty and love of music to countless Nicaraguan children and families. The program has grown to include nine rural schools with 51 teachers, reaching more than 600 children. While Raul is irreplaceable, he has ensured that RIB will continue in his leave.
